The Milwaukee Bucks are back on the court for the first time in nearly a month.
It’s a game that has been an emotional roller coaster for some fans, and for others, the return to the court has come as a shock.
The Bucks will face the Brooklyn Nets at home on Saturday, a team that was eliminated from playoff contention by the Chicago Bulls in the first round of the playoffs in early November.
The first game back for the Bucks has come in the form of a loss to the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night, a game in which the Bucks were up 14-3.
They were down a basket by halftime, but were unable to get back in the game.
Bucks coach Jason Kidd was in the crowd that night, as he returned to the game following a knee injury.
Bucks center John Henson, who had been sidelined for four weeks with an ankle injury, was the only player to play in the fourth quarter.
Henson, along with rookie Giannis Antetokounmpo and rookie Ben Bentil, had been playing through their injuries, but the Bucks will now have to make do without Henson and Antetoukounmpos for the rest of the regular season.
Kidd told reporters that Henson is the first player he has felt the need to “relearn” the game, and that the first thing he will be doing is learning how to play the game in a new way.
Kittel: Bucks are not the worst team in the NBA yet article It’s hard to argue with the fact that the Milwaukee Bucks have been one of the NBA’s best teams, and have finished in the top 10 in four consecutive seasons.
They’ve won back-to-back conference championships in 2017-18 and have been the best team in their division in both years of the Kevin Durant era.
But, the team’s struggles have not been limited to their wins and losses.
They have also been inconsistent, and their record against the other top teams in the league is a dismal 13-18.
Kinnell: Bucks need to find their way on the floor again article It is easy to forget that the Bucks are still in the midst of the greatest season in franchise history.
Their 23-6 record was their highest winning percentage since the 2011-12 season.
But there is still a lot to be learned about the Bucks from their last three seasons, which has left the franchise in a precarious spot.
First, Kidd and the Bucks struggled to score the ball, which is a big part of the reason why the Bucks went in the Kevin Love trade last year.
The Bucks have the second-worst offensive rating in the entire NBA at 105.8 points per 100 possessions, which ranks 25th.
They rank 25th in points per possession, which means they rank 20th in offensive efficiency and 29th in effective field goal percentage.
Kimmel: Can the Bucks find a way to win?
article The Bucks can try to find a formula to get the ball back into their hands in a game like Saturday’s.
They had one of their best shooting nights of the season in the second half against the Los Angeles Lakers, which was a big reason why they had a chance to win.
The Lakers shot just 35 percent in the third quarter and finished with a 35-35 record.
The next night, the Bucks scored 39 points in a win against the Utah Storm, which ranked third in the conference.
The win against Los Angeles, combined with the Utah game, led to the Bucks winning six of seven games.
The good news is that the team will have to find some answers offensively.
The bad news is the Bucks can’t score enough points on the offensive glass, ranking 29th on the league in effective 3-point shooting percentage.
The team will also need to figure out how to win with a new starting lineup.
The starters are both healthy, but their playing time is going to be limited for most of the game with both Nikola Pekovic and J.J. Redick having missed the past two games due to injury.
Redicker has not played since Nov. 30 with a sprained right ankle.
The two starters who are returning will need to be given a lot of playing time, and they will have an opportunity to prove themselves in the backcourt.
They’ll also have to take the ball out of their hands when they need to, as they have yet to play on defense.
The Milwaukee rotation has been pretty solid so far.
But that could change after the Bucks go to Brooklyn for their first game in Brooklyn since November 20.
